Generally, out of all of a participant's funded supports, disability support workers spend the most time with participants. Support workers have a profound impact on the participant's lives. All too often, we are told that the impact is underwhelming and that support workers just sit on their phones. We strive to be impactful.

The profound impact that we strive to make is increased inclusion for people with disability. We acknowledge that people with disability have the right to experience the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms. As per the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Social and Interactional Model of Disability, we also acknowledge that the interaction between the individual's impairments and various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others. 

With skilled, committed and reliable support to navigate these barriers, more inclusion can be experienced.
